Martin Leeuwangh joined Shelston IP in 2004 after qualifying as a European Patent Attorney with a London patent firm. He is presently studying for registration as an Australian Patent Attorney while also approaching qualification as a UK Chartered Patent Agent.
Martin has experience in preparing and prosecuting patent and design applications and providing advice on infringement and validity. Martin’s background and interests in mathematics and computer science lead him to specialise in the fields of communications and information technology, and computer-implemented inventions. He also has experience in mechanical, electro-mechanical and automotive engineering, optics, sub-sea mining apparatus and the mechanical aspects of materials engineering.
Martin enjoys photography, sailing, diving and windsurfing.
