Andrew Lowe joined Shelston IP in 2005 and advises primarily in respect of patent and design protection. He also specialises in drafting patent specifications, prosecuting patent applications and providing validity and infringement advice.
Prior to joining Shelston IP, Andrew worked for several years in a leading patent attorney firm in Melbourne. Andrew has acquired considerable experience in the intellectual property field, having previously worked as a solicitor in a major law firm and also as a patent examiner in IP Australia.
Andrew's Science major was in Physics. His experience includes a wide range of technologies in mechanical engineering, including valves, pipes, packaging, biomedical and building technology.
In his spare time Andrew enjoys playing squash and pursing his interests in Ancient History and American football.
