Grant Shoebridge joined Shelston IP in 2006. His areas of technical expertise include molecular biology, immunology and cancer.
Grant has many years' experience working as a research scientist in industry. Following his PhD, which examined the structural basis of immunoglobulin polyreactivity, Grant worked as a postdoctoral scientist at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (Sydney) investigating metastasis of breast cancer. He was subsequently employed in the Institut de Biochimie in Switzerland to develop high throughput fluorescent assays. Grant returned to Australia in 2002 and worked as an National Health and Medical Research Centre (NH&MRC) Senior Research Officer at the Centenary Institute of Cancer Medicine and Cell Biology (Sydney) on the development of a DNA vaccine against Tuberculosis.
Prior to joining Shelston IP Grant worked at Apollo Life Sciences where he was involved in the preparation of patent applications and prior art searching.
Grant enjoys surfing, skiing and cooking.
