Anuradha Moulee joined Shelston IP in July 2002. She is a registered patent attorney specialising primarily in the area of chemical patents. Anu is also a registered Indian patent agent.
Anu’s areas of technical expertise include polymer chemistry and formulation chemistry. She holds a PhD in Polymer Science and has industry experience in India. Her doctoral work was on developing novel impact resistant nylons for application as engineering plastics. She then joined the Research division of Hindustan Lever Limited, a member of the Unilever group of companies, and worked for several years in polymer research before moving to the Patent Department where she was responsible for India-originating patent applications. Anu has experience in patent searching, competitor monitoring, drafting specifications and prosecuting patent applications. She has considerable patent research experience in the areas of soaps and detergents, personal products, food science, polysaccharide chemistry, polymer adsorption and textile science. Anu’s other interests include writing, particularly poetry. Her book of poems, The Pomegranate Tree, was published in India in 2000.
