Jane Choat joined Shelston IP Lawyers in 2007. She has a background in commercial litigation and has previously gained experience working for a large firm in South Australia.
Jane assists in the conduct of Federal Court litigation and in the prosecution of matters before the Australian Patent and Trade Marks Office. She also helps to advise clients in relation to the development and implementation of strategies for the protection of their intellectual property rights.
In addition to her law degree, Jane has a science degree with a double major in biochemistry and physiology. Jane is admitted to practice as a legal practitioner before the Supreme Court of South Australia and in both the High Court and Federal Court of Australia.
In her spare time Jane enjoys travelling, playing golf and practising the piano.
