Frazer joined Shelston IP in early 2008 as a Patent Searcher.
Frazer holds a BSc degree in Chemistry and Biological Sciences from the University of Waikato in New Zealand. His undergraduate work in relation to the preparation of new Indium (III) compounds has been published and cited in the academic literature.
Frazer has extensive experience in patent searching. After working for 7 years as a Patent Examiner at the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand, Frazer spent 5 years in industry at XIP/GenericsWeb - 4 years as a senior searcher and a further year as their Information Manager. During this time Frazer was involved in numerous patent clearance searches for pharmaceutical substances submitted for regulatory approval
Frazer provides patent information support across all teams at Shelston IP, with a particular emphasis on chemical and pharmaceutical subject matter.
In his spare time, Frazer likes to cook, grow vegetables and chase after two of his three children. He would also like to enjoy more golf.
