Overview
Peter is a Patent Attorney with a first class honours degree in computer science as well as a physics and a law degree.
He has extensive experience in dealing with the patenting of complex computer algorithms. Peter taught computer science at Sydney University and has extensive experience in the protection of complex technologies in the fields of computer science, photonics, electronics and general mechanics. Peter works primarily in the patent area but also advises on design protection. He has dealt extensively with patent offices globally, including the USA, Europe and Japan.
Peter’s additional experience includes computer architecture, application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), neural networks, support vector machines, audio and digital signal processing, ultrasound, FPGAs, photonic devices including optical filters, Bragg grating structures, circulators and optical multiplexers, medical devices, including heart monitoring and surgical devices, micro electro mechanical devices (MEMS), superconductor devices, semiconductor fabrication, plasma physics, nanotechnology, printing, signal compression, face recognition algorithms, data and numerical analysis algorithms, internet and business patent models, bioinformatics and statistics, fuel cells, retractable syringes, steering dampeners and electrical switches.
The patent practice has over 30 professionals advising in all major technical fields as well as clean/green technology.
