Overview
Tam mainly works in the fields of electrical engineering and information technology related patents.
Prior to joining Shelston IP, Tam worked with a specialist and industrial cables manufacturing company to assist with analysing and managing the efficiency of production processes. She has experience in drafting patent specifications in areas of technology including electrical power systems, computer systems and software. With experience in prosecuting patent applications in Australia and a range of other jurisdictions including the US, Europe, and China, she assists with the ongoing management of patent portfolios in a range of fields including electrical power systems, information and software systems, business methods, mining and automation and medical devices.
Whilst completing her undergraduate degree, Tam undertook a project exploring the use of solar power technologies and the application with mobile devices.
