    Connie is a patent engineer within the mechanical and electrical engineering team, with a particular focus on medical devices and technology.

    Her experience within the medical device industry gives her a broad understanding of mechanical, electrical and biological principles which underpin medical devices and technology.

    Prior to joining Shelston IP, Connie has worked in numerous engineering roles across the medical device industry working directly with an array of medical devices including diagnostic and monitoring equipment. This experience has provided Connie with the technical expertise to understand a broad range of inventions.

    Connie has prosecuted patents for a wide variety of medical devices and related technology. She is also knowledgeable in design protection and has advised clients on the appropriate scope of protection for their designs and has been involved in the filing of design applications.

    Connie is currently studying to become a registered Patent Attorney. She is keen to apply her knowledge and experience when working with new and existing clients to harness the benefits of intellectual property protection.
