    With over 20 years’ trade marks experience, “methodical and diligent” Gerard Skelly is regarded as “a seasoned expert on all trade mark registry matters” (2014 World Trade Mark Review 1000).

    Gerard is both a solicitor and registered trade marks attorney. He handles trade mark clearance searches, prosecution of trade mark applications as well as oppositions and dispute resolution matters.

    Gerard has considerable experience and success representing clients in trade mark hearings before IP Australia. He also has a Science degree and has developed a specialty in the pharmaceutical and medical fields.

    Gerard has previously worked with another large firm of Australian trade mark attorneys and with a multi-national law firm. He is a senior trade mark practitioner and provides strategic advice relating to the protection, management and enforcement of trade mark and domain name portfolios.
