Matthew practices in the fields of physics, electrical engineering and computer technologies.
With a background in the field of photonics, Matthew specialises in lasers, optical fibres, photovoltaic devices and various optical network devices for the telecommunications industry. Matthew also has a keen interest in the fields of nanotechnology and near-Earth space technology which has exposed Matthew to the importance of computational analysis of complex systems and problems.
In his practice, Matthew focuses on assisting clients to establish, build and enhance their patent portfolios, both domestically and internationally. He has expertise drafting and prosecuting patent specifications for optical and electronic telecommunications, gaming technologies and computer-implemented technologies for assisting in the building and construction industries.
