Patent Attorney – Chemical Engineering
We are offering an opportunity for a qualified Patent Attorney with a solid foundation in chemical engineering to develop his or her career as a patent attorney with our team of experts in our Sydney office.
In this role, you will have diverse and challenging work as well as the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise under the mentorship of experienced senior attorneys. Working in a small team and for a variety of clients with diverse technologies, you will adopt a flexible approach as you do whatever is necessary to ensure the task is accomplished and the clients’ expectations are met.

The Ideal Candidate
This role would be perfect for a qualified Trans-Tasman Patent Attorney working in the field of chemical engineering.
You will have a qualification in chemical engineering, (ideally PhD or Honours / Masters degree). Experience in patent drafting and prosecution would be highly advantageous. You will have strong technical and analytical skills and the ability to consider and advise on technical issues within a commercial context.
